一、对当地的消费水平进行调查，确定自己的客户群

了解当地消费者的消费层次，确定店铺的消费的主题人群，决定商品的档次，比如，消费能力不强的，则开低档的饰品店;这决定了将来饰品店的装修风格等情况。

二、确定开店地址，在选址时要综合考量这几方面因素

1)行人流量。一般而言,高的顾客流量水平会增加销售。但是,过量的顾客流量也会由于太拥挤而阻止购买者前往。同时也要分析步行交通,以便确定步行者的特征是否与拟设这个位置的商店的目标市场相一致。2)公共交通设施与路况。路况指路面的宽度、交通拥挤程度以及有无交通管制等,它不仅与客流有关,也与商店上货速度有直接关系。3)店铺的结构和店铺的能见度;店铺面积大小及其建筑结构、形状;有无城建规划限制,如水电、下水道、暖气等条件。4)店铺坐落的位置。位置的概念一是指距离市中心的远近;二是指距离居民区或交通干线的远近;三是指坐落于某一地段的具体位置,如拐角、中心、十字路口等。

对于饰品店来说，进货应该考虑以下问题1、进货周期;2、进货量;进货渠道。1.进货周期小饰品是更新快的小件物品，所以进货周期相对短一些。可考虑一天或隔天进货一次，至少也要提高/增加一周进货一次。2.进货量根据资金实力、销售情况而定。3.进货渠道大型的批发商，广东、浙江等地的批发市场饰品种类比较丰富;也有一部分可直接从厂家那里进货;有时厂家的更新没有那么快，可以考虑在网上批发，网上的产品更新快，能紧跟潮流，比较有竞争力。而且也去省去大笔交通路费。4.进货时，要充分考虑客户的需求。首先，要让有市场经验的采购人员去采购，她们对饰品市场整体感觉以及消费者喜好的把握比较准确。其次，要经常去逛饰品批发市场，了解市场动向。其三，营业时，销售人员要与消费者勤沟通，并把了解到的客户需求及时反馈。后，还要经常看看报纸、杂志、电视节目等等，了解近的流行趋势。
